What is a professional rent guarantee?

Whether you are a company, a self employed professional, a non profit organisation, a club, a start up or any other type of structure, POST Finance supports you in setting up the rent guarantee for your professional premises.

Instead of paying the guarantee directly to your landlord, you deposit the amount into an account in your name at POST Finance. This reliable and secure solution allows you to move into your offices, commercial spaces or professional facilities with complete peace of mind.

Your landlord benefits from strong security, and you retain full control: the funds remain blocked in your name and can only be used if needed, according to the conditions defined in your lease agreement.

A fixed rate, with no hidden fees:

  • Processing fee: €50, charged once when the guarantee is created
  • Monthly fee: €3/month, regardless of the guarantee amount or your legal structure

The POST Finance rent guarantee is available to all POST Finance business clients, including: PMEs, micro businesses, self employed workers, associations, clubs, liberal professions, start ups, shops, companies, and more.

  3. Transmit your documents

    Send us your documents (form and signed lease) online or in one of our Espace POST.

  4. Deposit the amount of the guarantee in your account

    And your rent guarantee is activated!

Answers to your questions

The amount of the guarantee is blocked on a dedicated account held by the tenant organisation for the entire duration of the lease. The duration is defined in the clauses of your lease contract.

It is possible to recover the rent guarantee at the end of the lease. For this, it is necessary to send (by secure messaging or at the counter) a request for release of funds co-signed by the landlord.

The landlord may activate the guarantee fully or partially through a request submitted at a POST branch, by mail, or via secure messaging in eboo (if the landlord is also a POST Finance client).

Our fees are fixed, transparent and independent of the amount of your guarantee.

As a private client:

  • Processing fees: 250€ paid once during the provision of the guarantee
  • Management fees: 10€/month
